Need 2022 Online data (Not PDF) to use with TTax 2022 desktop

I am an EA representing a client who prepared own complex return. I would like to use her 2022 online data file to upload or access in my 2022 desktop version. She uploaded to my Intuit Proconnect storage Link file with extension ".tax2022" under the "properties" which should be a data file.? The ",tax2022" data file opens with basic information and no numbers??? My goal is to prepare an amended 2022 in my desktop and present it to IRS. Pls Advise TTRojidave

The .tax2022 file is the data file that you want. It's possible that the client saved several versions of her tax return at various stages, and sent you the wrong one.

It's not clear to me whether you are opening the file in TurboTax or in ProConnect. If you're sure you have the right file, and it's not opening properly in ProConnect, you should ask for help in the ProConnect Community.

If it's not opening properly in TurboTax, make sure that your 2022 TurboTax software is fully updated.
