I had bought desktop Turbotax for the last few years and assumed the Amazon registration process would register it with Turbotax. I was able to enter data from Turbotax 2024, but when I tried to download investment income I could not download any. A call to Turbotax support revealed that the 2025 Turbotax I bought and paid for had not been registered with Turbotax. Apparently the Amazon registration did not register my 2025 edition of with Turbotax -- perhaps because I had not bought previous editions from Amazon and treated me like a new Turbotax customer. How can I combine the two accounts?
