Using Turbotax Premiere Download for Desktop (Mac) and cannot import data from 2024 tax return even though the format is accurate. Has anyone found a solution?

if you're hitting the issue where it won't import, gets stuck on Continue etc, instead of starting a new return, go to File / Open Tax Return and open the .tax2024 file, Turbo will detect it's from prior year and ask if you want to transfer it into a new return.

Although I am not a Mac user I have had this issue in the past. I saved the past return as a pdf and used it as my import.
