Can't import wells fargo forms into Turbo Tax 2025

I can't import my Wells Fargo tax forms in to TurboTax 2025 desktop version. I have tried different default browsers and have changed my password to one without special characters. It looks like it goes thru but then takes me back to "Let's get your forms" and asked me to "Go to Bank" again to login. I have tried multiple times. I have also cleared Intuit as a connected app through Wells Fargo and reconnected. Still no luck.

Previous years I was able to select Wells Fargo Advisors as the Financial institution and that has worked but it's not an option this year, just Wells Fargo.

Any advice?

there was a similar issue with Merrill where one was missing, it looks folks calling Wells and calling Turbotax to resolve it. With Merrill it seems they changed something with the way they authenticate but then Turbotax had to do something to put them on the import list.

it may not get attention/resolution here so I'd suggest hitting the phones to both parties.

btw once you get this resolved you may hit the browser permission issue, solution for that here just in case you need it

I have the exact same issue. Logged in to wellsfargo from Let's get forms. Started downloading progress and then nothing. TurboxTax goes back to the page where you are asked to connect to bank.

I'm having the same issue now that the forms are finally avilable from WF. Its worth noting as well that Wells Fargo Advisors was listed as an option earlier in the year but now is missing.

I am having this exact issue. The Wells Fargo forms are finally available, but I can't import them because I get stuck in a loop. Really would like this resolved soon so I can get my taxes done early

Turns out I was able to import the forms by selecting Wells Fargo Clearinghouse and logging in.

Do you have a separate account through clearing services? Advisors appears to be the trade name backed by clearing services but it doesn't look like the acocunt login information is interchangable between the services.

Neither "Wells Fargo" nor "Wells Fargo Clearing House" works for me. Have been trying for the last 2 weeks.

Program just goes into a loop with no data into Turbo Tax. 2/17.2026.

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.

To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:

Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.

If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:

Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

I will try this, my program says success but I don,t get any data and when I try it goes into a loop.

I went into Wells Fargo and deleted the account link to Intuit - then went back to Turbo tax and used Wells Fargo Clearing services and just connected by brokerage account and then it worked.

go to wells fargo - security & services - and delink from Inuit and then try it again. use wells fargo clearing and only link your brokerage accounts

I can't import from Wells Fargo either.

I get a notification to confirm on the iPhone app, I confirm and keep going around in circles.

Anyone get it to work?

I don't want to type all the stuff in.....

I don't see "Security and Services", only a Security Center on wellsfargo.com. On wellsfargoadvisors.com I don't see anything related to Security.

Can you please clarify? I am at the point where I get Clearinghouse to download but the data is not filled into the TurboTax forms. I've already turned on Local Network Access.
