      <description>&lt;P&gt;I spent an hour on phone day before yesterday with a nice gal at TurboTax. She attempted to help me but was at a loss. Wasn't until I found the suggestion on here yesterday about allowing TurboTax to access my data by changing my browser setting that I fixed the problem. I also made Chrome my default browser while doing my taxes. Don't know if that helped?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am using Chrome and have TT H&amp;amp;B and had the exact same issue. Searched for this online and got these two things which I did. I also disabled my adblocker and privacy badger extensions.&amp;nbsp; I believe the second one did the trick as I did not have any issue with the window popping up so I am pretty sure it was not allowing network access as you can see the site URL was blocked when you go to that setting. Simply selecting ALLOW for that URL did the trick for me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;1.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry to hear, I am not a TT advisor, but there are many reasons why this could be happening on your system. I have used TT for many years and this is the first time this has happened to me too. Its either a TT things or a Chrome browser thing. You could change your default browser&amp;nbsp; on your computer so that when TT opens that window it is not using Chrome but Firefox, Edge etc. I would advise posting here on a separate thread and also indicate what browser and version you are using,&amp;nbsp; and what computer operating system you are using.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Turbotax Premier (and other verions) basically are WORTHLESS for downloading data.&amp;nbsp; You can go through all the hoops, giving Turbotax access to your financial institutions forms, but they download NOTHING and still force you to enter all data manually.&amp;nbsp; Since ANY tax software can do this, why spend money on Turbotax at all when there are free options available.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have to agree.&amp;nbsp; I've been using TurboTax for 30 years or so.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I'm having the same issue with Wells Fargo and while I think I'm following the guidance referenced above, I'm still having no luck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This business of having to reset your browser to allow permissions or access is horse@#$.&amp;nbsp; They make no allowances for those of us who aren't quite so computer literate.&amp;nbsp; While I appreciate the suggestions offered on this page, it really hasn't done me any good.&amp;nbsp; I think this might be the last year I buy the product (Premier Version).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I retired from the financial services world a few years ago and I'm familiar with Plaid and some of the other integration platforms that provide this service, but it just seems to me TT has dropped the ball with it's customers here.&amp;nbsp; They are basically saying, "here, you figure it out".&amp;nbsp; I'm not sure who's doing QA or use case testing on the Intuit side, but I've wasted 2 hours at this point.&amp;nbsp; I guess I'll have to try the support desk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Been a long-time user of Quicken too and I'm glad they separated from Intuit a decade ago.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; No interface problems there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have to agree as well Edward. I am not sure what the training/experience requirements are to be an "Expert" on this board, but clearly it is not IT or software programming related as the suggestions here did not work and I only happened to stumble across the solution that worked for me after searching online. Even then, it was not easy to find the setting in Chrome that needed tweaking. Now the question is, is this a TT related issue or is this a Chrome related issue? I will say, that the last few years downloading my investment information from WellsFargo and LPL Financial worked just fine. Its just this year it did not. This makes me think it is a Chrome thing, which they are constantly updating. So I would not be surprised if they added this "allow Chrome to have local network access" thing was something they put in to increase security. Has anyone had issues using Edge, Firefox or Safari? I just replied to another question on this and the key is you need to do these changes to Chrome AFTER TT has opened the window to your financial institution so that you can tell Chrome to allow THAT URL address to allow local network access. Otherwise changing the settings before you are on the actual webpage that TT opened, will not work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This solution worked for me, I am using Chrome for Windows 11:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you go to import from TT it will open a window in your browser. Go to the far left of the URL bar and you will see an icon to the left of the bar that looks like an audio slider equalizer symbol, click on that then select SITE SETTINGS. Scroll down and then click on LOCAL NETWORK ACCESS and then you should see the URL of the site you are trying to access as being "blocked". Click on that and choose allow. Then choose to import your data. If it says SUCCESS! but it is not downloaded into TT, then try it again, it should work the second time if it did not the first since the setting has now been changed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The key is you need to let TT open a Chrome window so it is on the website you are downloading the data from before you do any of the above. Just opening Chrome and changing settings without being on the website TT opens WILL NOT work because what you want to do is tell it to allow access to that specific webpage address, which won't show up in the settings local network access window if it is not open in that window.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C-&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tend to agree with you.&amp;nbsp; I've also used TT for more than 25 years without incident.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now the 2025 Premier version of TT has some &lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;serious&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt; issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 - requires an end user to&amp;nbsp;go into browser settings to get the import to work - I'm pretty tech savvy &amp;amp; it still took me 2 hours to find &amp;amp; implement the solution.&amp;nbsp; Still can't get it to work for my sister's PC.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Can't imagine how a casual user must feel.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 - now it opens a window that requires me to sign-on to my financial institution - based on how this version of TT is running, I'm worried about whether proper security is in place &amp;amp; not sure how I'd feel about giving my ID/password to a tax person if this doesn't change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Certainly not the TT quality of past decades.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would suggest TT give the Document Import function some immediate &amp;amp; much needed tuning/work to return it to a usable tax package.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Select an account at a different provider. (106)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have 42 pages of activity to import and, while I can just use the summary page, I do not believe TT has the ability to attach the scanned pages to provide clarity (as some other SW can).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Call me VERY FRUSTRATED in Texas!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any advice is greatly appreciated .... thank you ....
