Can you tell us what the three numbers are?

Sometimes when rounding up or down, the sum of the earnings and basis end up to be one dollar different than the distribution.

I'm entering a 1099-Q form with numbers in the gross distribution, earnings and basis fields. The numbers are from my 1099-Q and add up: earnings and basis = gross distribution but the error message says the numbers don't add up. Can you help with this bug? I've re-entered the numbers at least 4 times.

You are correct. It was a rounding error. I noticed that TurboTax rounded my numbers when the 1099-Q reported with "cents". I was able to correct it and move on.

Thanks for responding so quickly.
