1099-NEC / Other self employment income cannot be added

Hello,

I started my tax return today (Do It Yourself Premium Online). My business info was imported from last year. When I click on it and review, there is only the button "Looks good," but no way to add my 1099-NECs and other self-employment income for that business that I didn't receive 1099s for.

I was able to search for 1099-NEC, and when I click on Jump to 1099-NEC, I can see those from last year and edit them or add new ones for 2025, but there is still no way to add the self-employment income that I didn't receive 1099s for.

Is this a bug that will be fixed or a workaround? I also noticed the counters on top for refund/owed are not there, and also the overview of all the different incomes is missing.

Please advise. I have been a client for many years but am losing trust now if it seems not to be working correctly.

No, it is working correctly. Using the steps below selecting 'Other Income'.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online you can use the steps below:

Search function in the upper right and type Schedule C. Click on the Jump to.. link
This will bring you to the screen 'Self employment Income and Expenses' > click the arrow.
Select Edit beside your business and then scroll to Business Income and select 'Other Income' (cash, etc.).
