Can I still continue using the free version or should I start over again?

Hi-I loaded all my income thinking that the free version would work but I made over the allowed ($1500) dividend income. I then purchased the Premier version at Costco. Can I still continue to use the Free version income already compiled and then load the Premier code at the end OR should I just start over using the Premier version and re-enter all of my income?

You can purchase the Desktop software, and then transfer the data from the Online software.

If you started your 2025 return in TurboTax Online you can switch to TurboTax Desktop,

Install TurboTax Desktop.

Important: If your return includes a state,
1. Make sure you also install the corresponding state program(s) in order to proceed.
On the Desktop, Select Continue From TurboTax Online.
1. This is on the first screen in the Desktop version
2. There are two rectangular blue buttons
3. [Start a New Return]
4. Select [Continued From TurboTax Online]
Sign in to your Online Intuit Account.
Your data will be imported into TurboTax Desktop, and your return will open once the data transfer is complete.

You can not use the Premier License Code for the Online version. You have to install the Desktop program. Do you have Windows 11 or Mac OS Sonoma 14? You can move your Online return to the Desktop program without paying for Online.
