4562 Form Unavailable

Form 4562 is still unavailable in TurboTax, which is very frustrating and inconvenient. The IRS has already released this form, yet TurboTax Premium (Desktop Mac) still does not allow proper access or review of depreciation.

The TurboTax website is showing it's available for e-file and print. However, if you had no asset additions in 2025, it will not show up as a required form per IRS instructions. However, you should be able to see it in forms mode.

It isn't available yet. The section reads; "We're updating this section for latest tax laws. You can continue and skip it for now and work on other parts of your return. Sign up for email alerts, and we'll email you when it's available. Turbo tax has been a disaster this year with this delayed form.

estimate from Intuit in other threads is 2/13 for this form. dates can move either way.

the delay relates to guidance from IRS which was only published mid Jan, for people only waiting on this form it can be frustrating - but as we've seen with other 1099s it's a year for a bit of patience.
