      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm not a Windows expert but to me that sounds like you have Mode-S on Win 11 which only allows software from the store. &amp;nbsp;To install Turbotax you need to disable Mode-S which I understand to be a permanent change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/67551"&gt;@VolvoGirl&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/67938"&gt;@xmasbaby0&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/113"&gt;@DoninGA&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;To disable S mode in Windows 10/11, go to Settings &amp;gt; System/Update &amp;amp; Security &amp;gt; Activation, find the "Switch to Windows Pro/Home" section, and click "Go to the Store." Select the "Get" button on the "Switch out of S mode" page in the Microsoft Store. This is a free, one-way, irreversible process. &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
