E file New York State 2025return

I have been using Turbo tax for years and never had any issue. Getting a live person this year is almost impossible.

I have simple question- i have efiled my 2025 Federal retun , however, the system wont allow me to efile NY state return. All i m trying to do to know if I am doing something wrong or it is system error. Thanks

You should be able to file your New York return once your federal return has been accepted. To file it in TurboTax:

Sign in to TurboTax.
On the Your 2025 federal return was accepted! page
Open Your tax returns & documents, and then select 2025
Select Continue your return in the state tax return box
Select State from the menu
On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue

If you select Transmit my return now and it doesn't work, you might need to troubleshoot your web browser.

Turn off any pop-up blockers.
Try using a different web browser. For example, if you're using Chrome, try using Firefox or Safari instead.
Delete your browser cookies.

Good morning and thank you.

I poke with Lora at Turbo Tax, and she was very helpfull. She walked me through. There was an issue that NY State was NOT accepting e file returns.

I was finally able to efile yesterday. Thank you everyone for your help. Turbo Tax rocks. ( have been telling my friends that).

To file your state of New York return:

Sign in to TurboTax.
On the Your 2025 federal return was accepted! page
Open Your tax returns & documents, and then select 2025
Select Continue your return in the state tax return box
Select State from the menu
On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue

If you have any issues reach out again and give us more detailed information on what error you are getting.
