TurboTax calculates my taxes incorrectly the second year in a row

Last year 2024 TurboTax made me to overpay federal taxes. IRS returned me as a result of the program mistake $5,258.00. This year it looks like the taxes it calculates is too high. I entered the same data in ChatGPT, and it gives me the number of ~$3000 less. I'm vey upset and do not know what to do. I bought the TurboTax Home & Business at Costco. What should I do? Who should I call?

I suggest you print out the form 1040 prepared by ChatGPT and compare it to the same form prepared by TurboTax. You need to then compare the entries line by line to see where the discrepancies are. Then, investigate to determine which return is correct and go from there. Until you identity the problem with more specificity, it won't be possible to arrive at a solution.

To view your form 1040 and schedule 1 to 3:

Choose Tax Tools from your left menu bar in TurboTax Online while working in your program
Choose Tools
Choose View Tax Summary
See the Preview my 1040 option in the left menu bar and click on it
Choose the Back option in the left menu bar when you are done
