Can I configure TurboTax so that when I open the app it will go directly to desktop mode and not ask if I want to continue on line?

"desktop mode" is launched from the application on your desktop. if you're launching in a browser you will get online. there is no "desktop mode" in your browser.

Did you buy, install and activate the Desktop program? Do you have the 16 digit License Code?

Oh, it sounds like you are just starting a Desktop return or installing? It only asked me once if I wanted to switch or continue in the Online version when I installed the Desktop program. How are you opening the program? On Windows or Mac?
