I've already uploaded my 1095-A, hoping that was the fix to the issue. but I am still getting it. what gives?

Me too! I don't understand. After three times I got help from the TurboTax expert and still got rejected

The Form_1095A_Hold_Error is because the IRS database shows that someone in your family had Marketplace coverage.

Your return was submitted without Form 8962.
To fix this, you must locate your Form 1095-A from Healthcare.gov,
- Do you have a Form 1095-A?
  - This is the only form that has to be entered into your taxes
- Did you get the number from Box 2 of that Form?
- Does the Policy number exceed 15 digits?
- You can use the phone number listed by state at
- The Health Insurance Marketplace.
To enter 1095-A into TurboTax

Select Tax Tools
On the drop-down select Tools
There will be 4 green boxes
Select Topics Search
Type the 1095-A
Continue through the questions and it will be posted to your return.

On the 1095-A, you should not enter "0" zeros. This will cause a Review Error. Simply leave the area blank.

If you have to clear the 1095-A and start it over.

You can clear a 1095-A in TurboTax, you can follow these steps

Select Tax Tools
On the drop-down select Tools
There will be 2 green boxes
Select Topics Search
Type 1095-A
The question will come up Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?
Answer Yes
Continue to the form
Delete it using the trash can
Repeat the process
When you get to Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?
Answer No

I've deleted it twice, re-entered & resent. Still got rejected with same code. I've been rejected 6x. I don't understand it. All the numbers are definitely correct. 1095A_hold_error

- YES
Did you get the number from Box 2 of that Form?
- YES
Does the Policy number exceed 15 digits?
- YES (I entered in the last 15 digits)

What is the form 8962? How do I submit that with my 1095-A?

@hello After the Form 1095-A is entered in the program, TurboTax automatically completes the Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit.

Have you deleted the Form 1095-A and re-entered manually? Yes.

I've also uploaded the document that came from CoveredCA on the "Document" section of my account--does that help with anything?

@hello Delete the tax return and start over.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Switch Products on the lower left side of the program screen while working on the 2025 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over

It would not allow me to "Clear & Start Over"

It is saying:

You cannot clear your return
Since you already filed your taxes, you can no longer clear and start over.

I have 2 also. I went back on healthcare.gov and checked out my application for 2025. On one of the 1095s column A, the enrollment premium didn't match what was on the tax form. I went back on TurboTax & changed it to what was on the website & refiled. Got

accepted immediately
