      <description>&lt;P&gt;And another note.....for several users, there was a strange new Pop-Up about allowing access to your device...that you have to accept, before the data will actually import from Vanguard to your file&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(not sure that pop-up occurs in all situations).....but for one of my import situations, the notice indicated the download was successful, but nothing actually downloaded. I had to repeat the import process, and then hit the "Accept" in the Pop-Up, and THEN the data appeared in my tax file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And, whether the special tax file, that is needed for import into software, is really available or not may depend on what you hold at Vanguard.....even though many tax files are ready for certain investors, some folks have to wait longer.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Like for those holding REITs, those might not come out until late Feb or early March (my Mom's typically didn't get posted until the first week in March).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's 2/7/26... still not able to download 1090's from Vanguard. Tried clearing cache; turned off antivirus, etc.... Still nothing. I selected download, clicked on "Continue" and a separate tab opened; put in the Acct # and Doc. ID; went through the robot process; It confirms that document was downloaded into TT, but nothing happens!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!! This is about the 5th time I've tried this!!! URGHHHH&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The issue with importing 1099s from Vanguard Brokerage often occurs because Vanguard Mutual Funds are not currently supported for direct import in TurboTax. While the regular Vanguard Group account may allow import, Vanguard Mutual Funds do not appear as an option yet. This is a known issue with no announced resolution date. Meanwhile, customers may need to enter the 1099 information manually&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
