Merrill Lynch-Merrill Edge not in import Dropdown

I realize it may be too early, but why isn't 'Merrill Lynch-Merrill Edge' in the dropdown for institutions to import from? All I see is Merrill Trust Managed Accounts and that doesn't feel like the correct organization. Pretty sure it was there before the last update..??

I am fairly certain it was never there before the last update (i.e., Merrill Edge), but I believe you're correct; it's early and there is at least one Intuit employee checking on the absence at the present time.

FWIW, Merrill Edge is also missing from two other tax prep s/w providers currently. Again, probably nothing to get into a twist about given the fact that the 1099-Bs most likely won't be available from ML for at least another week or two (maybe even longer).

Merrill Edge was available in some earlier update as it told me will be available Feb 2.

After todays update (Feb 1, 2026), Merrill Edge is no longer on the list.

Hopefully it is just an oversight until import is actually available.

Since it's not available in other tax prep s/w (e.g., H&R Block), I believe it's on Merrill's end at this point.

Merrill Edge is still missing from the drop down -February 3, 2026

Merrill Edge 1099-B are available for pdf download from their site. I've seen mine. I just don't want to type in all that stuff.

It's still missing from H&R Block as well as TurboTax and, thus, I suspect this might be on Merrill's end, at least in part.

Yes, that would be my assumption as well as there might be some change in formatting which wouldn't be known at this point in time.

As of 2/9/26, 1099s are available to download. I tried to import into TT, there are showing 3 Merrills ...

1. BOA Merrill Sanity

2. BOA Merrill Sanity_testing Provider

3. Merrill Trust Managed Account

I typed in my ME ID in each of them, could not identify my user ID.

Yea I saw 3 options earlier as well but they disappeared again. I was able to import by selecting BOA Merrill Sanity, but when I tried to do it again with another account, it failed. I guess it's still in testing phase probably available later....though it's a bit annoying why not just make it available but shows a dialog saying "will be available xx/xx" like other brokerage.

I agree and that's the way it was in prior years. Not sure why they changed it this year.

It's now February 10th. ML Tax documents were available yesterday. But ML still doesn't appear in the dropdown for import. Any time frame to get this resolved?

I talked to the Support Desk folks and they told me it should be available 'mid February.' My plan is to check around the 15th and see what happens.

I sincerely hope what you were told is accurate. Another Support rep told another TurboTax user to go ahead and enter the data on the 1099 manually, which is sorta NOT acceptable if you have a myriad of trades,

Yes Merrill was available as an import option as I tried it in January and also was prompted to wait until Feb for the import. But Merrill is missing from the import listing with the latest update to turbotax. Waiting for turbotax to answer and fix like many others.

I don't recall Merrill Edge EVER being an import option since I installed the program back in November. I have Home & Business so there could be a difference there. Anyway, I think it could very well be Merrill that's dragging its feet because it's missing from H&R Block as well.

Yes, I got it too. First I tried the Brave, but did not import, so changed to MS Edge and worked! in the evening of Feb 11.
