Same Form 8283 question as everyone else....

After being told by TT on 1/27 that "Your return is in great shape. You're ready to file", I filed, and of course, it was rejected for no Form 8283, and also state rejected, too. TT has continued to send me daily reminder emails to go in and "fix" my returns. I go in to "fix" them and get told again it's ready to e-file, but still no Form 8283. It said the "error" would be corrected on 1/31/2026, but here it is, 2/1/2026, and it's not fixed. What's REALLY annoying is that I have already paid for TT because I feel like it's highway robbery to charge $40 to deduct fees from my refund.

If using desktop software, run this morning's overnight update (1 Feb)

Don't know if it's working Online yet..maybe already there, maybe by tommorrow

OK!!!!, this morning's update (1 February) "seems" to have fixed it....(at least for the Desktop software) And a weekend update is unusual.

BUT

You may have to go thru the entries again if you haven't entered addresses yet for certain charities.

But look closely, I have no idea if it covers all of your situation.
