Please continue to check back as many sections are being updated.

TurboTax Online updates for new tax laws and other features, but they are done automatically in your web browser. You do not have to manually update like in TurboTax desktop software.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can manually check for updates for your TurboTax program by clicking on "Online" in the black bar near the top of your screen and selecting "Check for Updates."

Stop deleting my posts. Your phone help told me to file an amended return as your Form 4562 is still locked. Not a good answer.

Form 4562 is available in FORMS in my TurboTax Deluxe Desktop product. You could make entries directly on the form while the resource-heavy interview section is being updated.

Yes. Although the forms availability table indicates that Form 4562 is ready to e-file, the final update for depreciation calculations in the software has not been released. We don't know the exact date of these updates.

We recommend that you wait a few days for the updates, which should resolve the experience you're having with Depreciation.

While you could complete the forms manually in TurboTax Desktop, you would need to file by mail instead of e-filing.

When 4562 Depreciation Schedule is available, will I be able to use it for the ONLINE VERSION with WINDOWS 10. Please let me know as soon as possible.

This is not helpful. We were told that Feb. 13th the Form 4562 will be updated for the EasyStep which is the reason why people purchase TurboTax software in the first place. However, the date has passed and still no update. Very disappointed! TurboTax used to be better than this. Shame on you guys!

If we need to fill out the form 4562 directly because it's STILL NOT available for the EasyStep, then why do we need to buy TurboTax????!!!! these forms are also available on the IRS website for FREE!!!!

Please do your job and update the form ASAP!!!!

The work on that section of TurboTax (Rental and depreciation of rentals) is still in process. The updates are now scheduled to be released with next week's updates, which usually come through Thursday night.

Use this link Sign up for email notification which will let you know when the depreciation/amortization will be ready to file for Schedule E.

I agree with the frustration on the lack of clarity of when this update will be available. We are also waiting for this to be updated so we can add new Assets. We are ready to efile except for this delay. I have signed up for the notification but will wait for this next Thursday's udpate.
