When will this be available. The IRS doesn't even show this as a form. It just shows 5329.

It's the basic 5329 to be used, if needed, by the taxpayer(T). If it were for your spouse, TurboTax would show 5329-S. The form is available today, but for desktop you need the latest update

I have checked for updates - it says I am using the latest software. Still says the form is "ready soon."

the form (available for e-filing) became available today. If the update has not yet been released (it hasn't as yet 2:30 CST 1/28/2026), your check will say up-to-date, so you'll need to wait for the next update
