Same problem as user BarryK123. I updated my Turbo Tax Premiere Desktop on 1/12/2026. I was able to enter charitable contributions, but when going back to the deductions and Credits heading, it says "Now Available" rather than presenting a 2025 total. How do I fix this?

The information next will explain how to update your software and complete the contribution section.

TurboTax Desktop for Windows is updated manually as follows:

Open your TurboTax return
Select Online in the top right menu bar
Select Check for Updates - TurboTax will automatically ask to save your return, and update.
- If you are up to date a notice will express that.

If after the update you experience the same situation, delete any contributions previously entered, complete the section and then go back to enter your contributions.
