When I asked to be notified when the form(s) will be ready, it brings me to a page to sign up for notification for form 3093, which is moving expenses. This is incorrect, since I'm looking for notification for 1099-R retirement forms.

If you are awaiting the availability of the 1099-R Retirement Income section, that incorrect form email notification is a glitch. The Retirement Income section is currently projected to be available on 1/21/26.

Then the other tax prep software providers have the SAME bug. What are the odds?

I mean, the IRS is not accepting returns before 1/26/2026.

I honestly don't know why anyone would want to submit their return prior to that date.
