Do you mean your SS card actually says that it is not valid for employment? If your Social Security card says it is not valid for employment you have to sort that out with Social Security.

Or....do you mean that when you went through the interview questions in MY INFO you clicked that your SSN is not valid for employment and need to fix that mistake? If you made a mistake in MY INFO then go back to MY INFO, click your name and go through those questions again.

If you google "how to remove not valid for employment social security card"

The AI response will show you some of the steps. Primarily it's done thru documents provided to the Social Security Administration. (SSA)

Edit Later: Yeah @xmasbaby0 makes a good point. If it's just the tax software designation that is showing up wrong, and not actually on your SS card...then you need to go thru the interview to change it in the Personal Info section.

The problem rests squarely w/Dump's SS Admin 2025 "regulations" trying in vain to "catch" new immig w/recent SSNs. I'm neither a new immig nor is my SSN recent. I need to send proof of my citizenship again bk to SS Admin or at any US Emb abroad. **bleep** TRUMP!
