As of today (December 2) Online TurboTax 2025 has become available at the early-season discounted prices. Be aware that the early-season discounts in past years have typically expired at the end of February, but can be locked in at that time by paying in advance. I personally wouldn't lock it in now since you are unlikely to get a product refund for an online product if you change your mind. And sometimes there are additional temporary limited discounts that pop up during filing season. You can use it for free until you decide. It won't ask you to pay unless/until you try to print or file.

I still do not see the 2025 version for PC in my download queue. Any update on when it will be released?

Advantage auto-renew plan users got the 2025 program on Nov 4, 2025.
The Desktop program came out Nov 6, 2025.
The Online version opened on Dec 2, 2025.

You can buy the Desktop Download program here or in stores or online like Amazon, Costco, etc.

You need a full Windows 11 or Mac OS Sonoma 14 computer to install it.

I just checked and TurboTax does not have Rental Section ready yet. It says "By February" which really stinks. I am going to try Free Tax to get going.
