      <title>Installing &amp; Activating Already Purchased (Online) 2024 Turbotax Software on My New Computer</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently bought a new computer and just installed (I believe) TurboTax 2024 software. When I click on the TurboTax 2024 icon that's now on my screen, it brings me to a page with a disabled button saying, "Activate TurboTax." That same screen also provides two options to proceed from there - either to click on a second button shown under the words "This account has a license code," with that button itself also showing the last four digits of my original license code from my earlier download to my old computer and the text "1/5 Active," as well as a third button saying, "Have another license code? Add another code."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I should note here that the last four digits of the license code shown on the second button do actually correspond to my original license code. However, when I click on it and then click on the now-enabled "Activate TurboTax" button, I get a warning that says, "&lt;SPAN&gt;This license code is already linked to another account." On the other hand, it's useless for me to click on the third button ("Add another code") since I do not have any other code to add.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks to anyone who can tell me what I need to do at this point to Activate my 2024 TurboTax on my new computer so that I can start using it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;there is no guaranteed tech support response to posts in this community forum just advice for common problems or tax situations etc so don't wait on a response here; suggest to call the support number directly if you are having problems activating a valid license.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
