The loss of data any time Intuit wants to discontinue a program surely applies to Quicken as well. There's an implied contract with the subscriber that quite suddenly adds the risk of insecurity for no fault of the subscriber.

I have been an Intuit customer for a number of years and never had to confront this before.

Intuit made no effort to contact me before discontinuing Its Deductible, resulting in my total loss of access to the data through October, 2025 . You forget that Intuit does not own the data; rather, the licensed user is the owner. So we have a small problem of the theft of data by Intuit.

You should read (or should have read) the ToS.

The data might belong to you, but Intuit has the right to discontinue services even without prior notice.

Intuit no longer owns Quicken, but I understand your point.

The issue with ItsDeductible, however, is that there is nothing bargained for, no quid-pro-quo; it was a free service.
