If you receive both a W-2 and a W-2c (Corrected Wage and Tax Statement) from the same employer, you should not enter them as separate forms in TurboTax. Instead, the W-2c replaces the original W-2 by providing the corrected information. Simply update your W-2 entry in TurboTax using the details from the W-2c.

If you haven't filed yet

If you have not yet filed your tax return, follow these steps to update your W-2 information:

Delete the original W-2. On the "Your W-2 info" or "Wages & Income" summary screen, find the W-2 from that employer and choose the option to "Delete" or "Edit" it.

Add a new W-2. Go through the process of adding a new W-2.

Enter the corrected information. Use the amounts from your W-2c to fill in the boxes. The W-2c form has a "Previously Reported" column and a "Correct Information" column; use the amounts from the "Correct Information" column.

Indicate it was corrected. When you reach the "Uncommon situations" screen, check the box that says "W-2 was corrected by my employer (Form W-2c)".
