However, now when I log back in to continue working on my 2024 return, the interface seems to indicate that I'm <EM>amending</EM> my 2024 return, which I never intended.</P><P>Specifically:</P><UL><LI><P>On one of the 2024 summary pages, there's a header saying <STRONG>"Here's the info for your amended federal return."</STRONG></P></LI><LI><P>On the left-hand menu under <STRONG>2024 Taxes</STRONG>, the <STRONG>"Amended return"</STRONG> section is selected.</P></LI><LI><P>Under that, there's an option to <STRONG>"Cancel Amend."</STRONG></P></LI><LI><P>The normal <STRONG>Tax Tools</STRONG> menu is also there.</P></LI></UL><P>I'm confused because I only amended 2023 — not 2024.<BR />Why does it think I'm amending my 2024 return now?<BR />If I click <STRONG>"Cancel Amend,"</STRONG> will I lose the 2024 return data I've already been working on?</P><P>Any guidance would be appreciated.
