      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5893355"&gt;@mmusmanno&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;the W-4 should mimic your tax return.&amp;nbsp; So if you file Joint, then the W-4 should be checked as "Joint" in Box 1.&amp;nbsp; Use the IRS Withholding Estimator to determine how the rest of the W-4 should be completed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
