TT not deleting old items

I no longer receive a K-1 from a partnership that I am out of. I have deleted the partnership K-1 from the Forms view and it no longer shows up in the step by step landing page for K-1's. However, the detailed step by step questions about that entity (probably auto-rolled from the prior year) are still present and wanting me to answer them. How do I get rid of them, as they are annoying and I just keep having to answer "no" or N/A to every question

Try deleting it this way. Go to the K-1 interview section here

Federal

Wages and Income

Then scroll way down to Business Items

Schedules K-1, Q - Click the Start or Update button

If the first screen says "Do you want to review Schedule K-1?". You have to answer YES and then click Update by the Schedule K-1 type (LLC, S corp, trust). The next screen is the Summary screen listing all of the K-1 entered for that type of entity. You can review, edit or delete it there.

One user found he had to add a fake name first.....

I figured out that I had to actually start fixing this problem by entering a fake K-1 name to the TurboTax request and then going back to the "Update the Schedule K-1" and deleting the fake K-1 name.

Thank you for the quick response. That didn't seem to work, but I figured out that although I deleted the K-1 I did not delete all of the related QBI worksheets in Forms view. Once I did that all of the step by step questions were removed. Thanks again for responding
