Remember that an extension does not give you more time to pay. You need to pay your tax due by April 15. The extension only gives you more time to prepare and file your tax return forms.

It depends which version TurboTax you are using. If online.

Sign in to TurboTax.
Select File an extension in the menu or go to extension.
- You can also select Tax Tools then Tools from the menu and choose File an extension.

If in the software;

Go to other tax situations.
Other Tax Forms
File an extension.
