 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure your computer meets the &lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/oicms/L5ar0Busw_US_en_US" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;minimum system requirements&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Verify that you have &lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/oicms/L60u3V0yZ_US_en_US" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;administrator rights&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Turn off file sharing by going to the &lt;STRONG&gt;Apple Menu&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;System Preferences &lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Sharing&lt;/STRONG&gt;. Then, uncheck all options under the &lt;STRONG&gt;Services&lt;/STRONG&gt; tab. This will stop your computer from sharing any files.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If needed, &lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/oicms/L6xLWlabw_US_en_US" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;remove and reinstall TurboTax for Mac&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Allow cookies and pop-up windows.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If you’re asked to grant access to your confidential information, enter your Mac password and select &lt;STRONG&gt;Always Allow&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;From the &lt;STRONG&gt;Apple&lt;/STRONG&gt; menu, choose &lt;STRONG&gt;System Preferences&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Security &amp;amp; Privacy&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;General&lt;/STRONG&gt;.

   &lt;LI&gt;Select the &lt;STRONG&gt;Lock&lt;/STRONG&gt; to make changes.&lt;/LI&gt;
   &lt;LI&gt;Then select &lt;STRONG&gt;the App store &lt;/STRONG&gt;and &lt;STRONG&gt;identify developers &lt;/STRONG&gt;under &lt;I&gt;Allow applications downloaded from&lt;/I&gt; (if you're unable to choose it, select the lock icon and enter your admin password).&lt;/LI&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;Temporarily turn off your firewall and virus-detection software as well as &lt;STRONG&gt;any other program that connects to the Internet&lt;/STRONG&gt;, such as email or web browsers.

      <title>e-File failed from Deskto version</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When taking the final step to submit my state and federal returns...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;Your transmission didn't go through&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;Transmission failed: Your request was not understood by the e-filing service.&amp;nbsp; - Invalid XML. cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'legalName'. One of '{filter]' is expected.. Please verify that your application program is up-to-date.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;Looks like we've had a technical hiccup.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;Try e-filing again.&amp;nbsp; If that doesn't work, you can print your return and file by mail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried e-filing again. I updated and tried e-filing again.&amp;nbsp; I consulted the forums here and saw a similar issue from someone last year that suggested changing the AGI to be $0.&amp;nbsp; Tried that, failed again.&amp;nbsp; So now I will end up having to print and file my return via USPS - after having paid for the e-filing. After printing for manual filing, I get a message telling me that I've paid to e-file and I should return and e-file later. There appears to be no way, other than this forum, to contact support so I am at a loss.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
