      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the asset is improved real estate, then the cost is just the cost allocated to the building, not including the land.&amp;nbsp; The cost of the land is entered separately.&amp;nbsp; That's because the building is depreciated, the land is not, so the total cost has to be allocated between the two.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
