Amend 2023 Return - Desktop Version - Steps needed

I used TurboTax 2023 Desktop to file my taxes last year. I need to make an amendment. I follow the instructions here - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-already-filed/L4VjJ9BA2_US_en_US?uid=m966c0bh.

However, the software just seems to be asking me to essentially re-input everything from 2023 and not just the area I need to adjust. Is that accurate? As in I am refilling completely?

Further, step 3 (Desktop) from above seems to indicate that I would select my return to amend. However, that is not the experience in the software. It never asks for my previous return that I am amending, and I get to a screen asking, "What do you need to change on your return?" I only need to update "Wages & Income." More specifically "Investment Income." Every other section is empty.

What am I missing? How do I file an amendment in the 2023 Desktop version of this software?

Continue the 2023 tax return that you need to amend -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Other Tax Situations

Under Other Tax Forms

On Amend a return, click on the start button
