topic IP PIN in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I was able to file federal & 2 states WITHOUT entering my IP PIN. ...this is worrisome, why was I able to do this? we had our taxes fraudulently filed a few years ago, this is why we have been receiving this PIN.

If you are required to use an IP PIN to file your taxes, they won't get accepted. Contact the IRS to find out why. You can contact the IRS at Call the IRS at 1-800-908-4490 to inquire about your IP PIN.

after REJECTED, try again, this time with the IP PIN. It will go through.
