Did it schedule estimated tax payments?

I had it print estimated taxes, but I don't think it scheduled automatic payment for feds or state. I already filed with the feds and ny state and got feedback that they were accepted.

I don't think TurboTax schedule the estimated taxes even though I printed it. Maybe I thought I would schedule the payments later, but I don't see where that would be done. Is it too late? I don't want to end up somehow resubmitting the taxes I've already done. Is there just a place I can go in the program to get those scheduled, or should I just go to the irs and ny places to schedule estimated tax payments 2025?

TurboTax only prints estimated payment vouchers for you, if needed and/or requested. There is not a way to schedule automatic estimated payments through the TurboTax program.

You will need to go to the IRS website and your state department of revenue site in order to schedule those payments on your own.

You cannot schedule automatic estimated tax payment using TurboTax. The estimated tax forms that are available through TurboTax have to be printed and mailed by you with the tax payment.

If you want to set up automatic estimated tax payments for federal taxes, go to this IRS payment website and choose Pay through EFTPS - https://www.irs.gov/payments

Hmph. I could have sworn that TurboTax Premier used to do that and that it was one of the "approved" programs to do that.

TurboTax doesn't schedule. Estimated tax payments. The vouchers are printed out for your convenience but you have to mail them in with your payment. Or you can go to the federal and state website to schedule your payments at a time convenient to you just before the 15th of the month.

Ah ha! I did find it for New York estimated taxes. And it even has an "app" if you've already filed. So unless there is something similar to the feds, I'll at least use the TurboTax estimated tax "app" for the New York estimated taxes.

I don't remember exactly. I think i just went back into TurboTax and the new york estimated tax part and it had a link to get the "app", but since I put it in quotes, it might have just been a web page and not a program that actually got downloaded. Sorry I don't remember more, but I think I finally got both feds and ny to autopay.
