I have two different user IDs with the same email and phone number. I am not sure how and when I created two different ones. Does it matter if I am filing my returns on Turbo Tax for the first time?

It will not make a difference the first time.

However, you must use the same ID and Password next year to access previous year data.

@JohnB5677 Thanks. I was just curious does Turbo Tax support multiple user IDs even with the same email address?

Yes, you can e-file up to five federal returns using the same email address or phone number with personal tax return preparation products.
