      <description>&lt;P&gt;Generally no. A&amp;nbsp;wage garnishment is just a method to pay a bill. If the garnishment is for something nondeductible, like child support, it is not deductible. If the garnishment was for alimony, it can be deductible because it was paid directly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
