CAF # submissions when e-filing

I have the same questions. I know my CAF # for my elderly parents is good for 3 years; this being year three. However, my mother passed away in Nov of tax year 2024, and her driver's license expired 3 days ago. I guess I'm stuck at this point, and must submit everything by mail, because she has no current driver's license. (?)

(unless someone else has more info to contribute; for I surely would have preferred to submit electronically).

I don't know about you but my drivers license expired in 2024 and I no longer can drive a car. I e-filed my taxes this year. On the screen that you enter the drivers license there is a check box that says you do not have a drivers license. I checked that and both federal and state went thru ok. I have the desktop version. Don't know if the online program will let you do the same.
