Schedule D Part III

On schedule D Part III in line 17 has an amount and the form checked Yes. Go to line 18 but there is nothing in this line and can't locate 28% Rate Gain Worksheet. If no worksheet for this do I ignore it or do I still need to complete one. If I need to complete one where would I get the information I don't see form 8949 part of my forms nor do I see other forms listed on the worksheet and would it me regular or alternative tax?

You don't need that worksheet if Line 18 is empty. Did you sell collectible investments?

On the Form 1040 Worksheet, there is a Tax Smart Worksheet that will show you what worksheets were used to calculate your tax if the tax table was not used.

Thanks, no I didn't sell collectable investments.

I see the tax smart worksheet checked line for qualified dividends.

I have to say I really LIKE this option to chat with an expert session please do this every year maybe have this twice a month until tax are filled.
