    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi I am a J1 student , last year I was working in America and also applying my ssn but I didn’t receive &amp;nbsp;my card. But my company already issue my W2 form with 9 numbers that I didn’t know, is it any possible that my company have my ssn? &amp;nbsp;Because I mailed them whether they can help me to check but they said they didn’t have my information! Please help me🥹&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you were issued a W-2, was there withholding in Box 4 and/or Box 6?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You would need to contact your employer to find out what the number they used was and where they got it. &amp;nbsp;If it was not a SSN, then you would need to contact the social security administration or &lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/tin/itin/individual-taxpayer-identification-number-itin#contact" target="_blank"&gt;the IRS&lt;/A&gt; to find out if you were issued an ITIN. &amp;nbsp;We do not have access to that type of information.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
