How to share an E file verification code

I purchased and downloaded Turbo Tax from AMazon. It said it had 5 federal e-files . I shared the verification code with my son, and it denied him access and said " this license code is already linked to another account" In the past we were able to use the same verification account by different family members. Have they taken that away or is there a way for a family member to use my code?

You can install Turbo Tax on 5 computers YOU OWN. You would have to give them your online account info to activate the program. But they will not see your info and returns. The returns are only kept on the computer they were done on. They are not stored or saved on Turbo Tax online. They can still use their account to efile their own returns.

And the license has always been….you can install it on 5 computers YOU OWN. You are not suppose to share it. This year they are enforcing it.
