Printing on MAC

Yesterday (3/20/2025) I downloaded latest update after receiving email that stated print function had been resolved. NOT! Still cannot use all print functions. Somehow was able to print FED but cannot print State no matter what work-arounds I try. Time is of the essence!

Have you tried printing the entire return package (Fed and State) to one PDF?

Were you not able to print anything before the latest update?

Which state return is involved?

If you haven't already, try restarting / running updates again today.

I just tested with my Mac and was able to print a state return to PDF. Some Mac users have still been able to print to a PDF and then print outside the program. To try this, select File, then Print, select what documents you want to print, and then choose PDF instead of Print.

If I go File, Print Preview, window opens with box to left where can check Fed and/or State. When I leave both items checked, am told will take a few minutes, then receive circling ball, and check at Force Quit where it says program is not responding and have to force quit.

If I check to only Print Preview Fed, I am able to get a copy of Fed return. If I check to only Print Preview State, I get circling ball, program not responding and have to force quit.

State I am using is Virginia.

As an aside, I opened 2023 TT to see if printing was acting up and it unfortunately is. Printing function worked last year with Ventura. Currently using Sonoma 14.7.4.

The issue that you are describing has been fixed and you should be able to print with no issues. Also see this response from a previous thread by @les_rjtt
