TurboTax Updater will not function--gives an installer error 1603. Unable to get manual update to install. Any suggestions? Also, any suggestions on updating the state software? This just started today. Thanks for any help.

Try these steps to manually update your program. There is a specific link you can use in step 2 to help push the update to your software.

For your state forms, you can also refer to the state install/e-file update loop for steps to help resolve any state issues and update your program.

Be sure to follow all of the steps as needed in the links above. In certain situations, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the program using those steps to resolve all of the error messages.
