This can happen anywhere in the program.

You can try to clear cash and cookies

if that doesn't work, re-poot.

Please clarify your question.

I log in. I get to this screen:

Good news! We’ve transferred your info from last year to save you time

then hit continue and get this:

Oops, something went wrong. Please try again.

I have tried all the recommended steps: clear cache, changed password, used 2 different browsers, made a trusted site and nothing works.

My next step is to go to a different online service if can't be fixed or my issue answered timely

I ended up switching from my Mac to a Windows computer and resolved this issue. Not sure why, but both Chrome and Safari on a Mac presented the Oops, something went wrong message. As soon as I logged into Chrome on a Windows computer, I was able to move forward.
