    <description>&lt;P&gt;which tax product to use for:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) qualified disaster area ( Lahaina fire ) to amend a 2nd time my 2023 tax to include casualty losses and net operating loss to carry forward into 2024.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) 2nd amendment to 2023 done with free tax that didn't include NOL to carry forward... do I need to use a turbotax product for 2023 and if so do I include the entire 1040 work up along with 1040x&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) what product to use online for 2024 to include stocks and rental home sale?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also I am blocked everywhere I turn on turbotax to talk to a live person who could possibly answer these Q's faster and easier ... how do I access these live people????&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aloha and thanks again&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Casey&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;1. For the online version, both deluxe and premium will handle the casualty loss. All of the desktop versions handle the casualty.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. If you are using the desktop version, you can enter items in forms mode. Any items that will be changed with the amendment, I would recommend entering the first amended amounts. When you do a second amended return, the amounts in the first column are the numbers from your first amended return - not your original return.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Premium is needed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am sorry for your loss. I have family there. It has been awful for everyone involved. Aloha!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Aloha Amy&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry for your loss as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the advice, I think it will be helpful. I am pretty much an idiot when it comes to taxes, that why I use the tax programs. Even with I will give it my best and so we'll cross our fingers and hope for the best!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks again!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aloha&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Casey&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ps I have both 2023 2024 I think premium... and will be getting transcripts from IRS to help sort everything..
