Based on the information that you provided in your post, you qualified for $1,728 of premium tax credit and you received $1,728 of premium tax credit. You won't have to pay any back. If you had to pay any back, it would be listed on the same screen.

To double check, you can view Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit (PTC) and any Premium Tax Credit that you would have to repay would be on line 29. You will also see in on Schedule 2 line 1a.

What does it mean if Part III, columns A and C show the same amount of $ for each month (January-June) I was enrolled in a healthcare plan?

I previously sent in an appeal to terminate what I "owed" Healthcare Marketplace for those months due to incorrect information given when I enrolled in a new healthcare plan. Does this mean that I still owe the amount shown in column A or does C prove that it was paid in advanced, meaning I don't owe anything for those months?

It sounds like you paid nothing for the policy and that you received a subsidy (column C is an advance of the premium tax credit) of the full amount of the premium in column A. You may want to contact the payer and get a corrected form if you did not receive subsidy discounts and instead paid your full premium.

Enter it in TurboTax and see if it generates any payback on the credit - Where do I enter my 1095-A? You do not owe marketplace for those months, but you will have to pay back the advances if you don't qualify for the PTC.

I entered my info and it is showing that

Premium tax credit = $0

How much you qualify for = $1,728

Minus how much you got in advance as a discount = $1,728

We confirmed the discount you got on your monthly insurance premiums in 2024 was the right amount (no need for adjustments).

Does this mean I still need to pay back the advances (the $1,728)?
