      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do you have your new spouse's AGI from her return last year? &amp;nbsp;It is using that number to verify her identity and apparently is unable to do so.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5781824"&gt;@Demetrius3&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Was your spouse's 2023 return filed late in the year such as after October 2024?&amp;nbsp; If so, then an AGI frequently doesn't show up in the IRS database because of the late filing, and an AGI of 0 would be used.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regardless, if this was happening to me and a spouse, I would try using my 2023 AGI (as taxpayer 1) to verify me, and I'd try using an AGI of 0 for the spouse.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Surprisingly, that sometimes works when the IRS database is not matching.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It's quick and can't hurt anything to try.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

To fix the ind codes?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;NO, that's not what I meant!&amp;nbsp; You are Taxpayer 1 (i.e., the primary filer.) &amp;nbsp; I meant for Taxpayer 1 (you) to use &lt;STRONG&gt;your actual 2023 AGI&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and for your spouse to use a &lt;STRONG&gt;2023 AGI of 0.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do NOT use an AGI of 1 for either of you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry if I confused you by using the term "Taxpayer 1" for the primary filer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I can't guarantee that will work.&amp;nbsp; But it's at least something to try.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
