If you are having issues downloading your TurboTax software, you can try the steps listed below.

To Install TurboTax on your computer desktop:

Go to InstallTurboTax.com.
You will Select your TurboTax product.
You can Select your operating system (i.e. Windows or MAC).
You will then accept the TurboTax License Agreement.

Your product should automatically install after accepting the license agreement.

After you have installed the TurboTax program, you have to activate your software as follows:

Sign in to your Intuit Account. (If you have an account and are having trouble logging in, go to I need help signing into my Intuit Account.)
Select enter your license code here and enter your license code.
You should be ready to use TurboTax

You will need an Intuit Account to use TurboTax Desktop To ensure you are using an official TurboTax product, for your security and because the program will store your license code.

If you are having issues, you can try the following troubleshooting techniques:

Check that your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer and TurboTax is running as administrator:
You can do this by right-clicking the TurboTax icon or setup icon and select Properties. In the Compatibility tab, select the Run this program as administrator box and select OK.
Clean up and defragment your hard drive.
Delete the downloaded file and download TurboTax again from InstallTurboTax.com. Sometimes files get corrupted during the download process.
