FORM 4684 DISASTER CLAIM

I have been waiting since Feb 6, 2025 for upload of the form and the date keeps getting pushed.

Very unreasonable and frustrating, when is TT going to upload the form? It's already March!!

Did you update your software? The Form 4684 was finalized 03/06.

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Check for Updates

To enter a Casualty or Theft loss using Form 4684 -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Other Deductions and Credits
On Casualties and Thefts, click on the start or update button

Or enter casualty loss in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to casualty loss

Federal Form 4684 is available now. Check Forms Availability for the status of both Federal and State forms in TurboTax.

Intuit is currently waiting on guidance from several states on whether the state will conform to the Disaster Relief Act of 2023. As guidance is issued, Form 4864 for the states will be updated and made available.

As @DoninGA mentioned, if you have TurboTax Desktop, please update your software. If you are using the Online version, I would suggest clearing your cookies and cache to start (How to clear your cache).
