TAX Refund

Here is my question. On my return submitted to the IRS on the summary page - Electronic filling Instryction. amount to be refunded is different (significantly higher) then the amount on line 35a. Why is that? If this is wrong how can be corrected???

Only thing I can think of is if you applied some of your refund to next year. Check 1040 line 36. Or if you have a penalty on line 38. That is subtracted from line 35a.

Thank you but 36 is 0 37 is 0 and 38 is 0.

It is something wrong with the program. Since I already filed how can I fix this????

Is line 35a the same amount as 34? Go by the actual 1040 return. The cover sheet might be wrong. Is it including a state refund?
